The exhibition features a total of 380 pieces (sets) of collections from nearly 30 Chinese and foreign archaeological and cultural institutions and museums, including the Palace Museum. It outlines the historical evolution of the Confucian culture and illustrates the core concepts of Confucianism through an abundance of archaeological evidence, preserved classics, and artifacts.

With over 200 items (sets) of historical archives, animal and plant specimens, old photos, and image data, the exhibition takes visitors through the major historical events and achievements in landscaping since the founding of the People's Republic China in 1949, delivering a spectacular ecological picture of Beijing.

This exhibition presents artworks from five artists—Pang Xunqin, Lei Guiyuan, Zheng Ke, Wu Guanzhong, and Chang Sha'na (Sona). With unique academic ideals and thoughts, they have left younger generations numerous inspiring and influential masterpieces, demonstrating China's national image and cultural spirit in the new era.

2. African Art: A New Rediscovery
