Life Science and Healthcare Industry

The life science and healthcare industry is a pillar of Daxing District, with its industrial cluster being the first one with a value surpassing CNY 100 billion in Daxing. Daxing Biomedicine Industrial Base now houses 12 national-level research institutions including the drug control institutes of National Institutes for Food and Drug Control and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, as well as more than 250 national high-tech enterprises, and over 120 innovative service platforms. It boasts more than 600 high-end talented minds, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering and recipients of the "Thousand Talents Program". Well-known Chinese and foreign enterprises such as Fresenius Kabi (a Fortune Global 500 company), Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd., and Yiling Pharmaceutical have settled in the park. The Chinese Pharma Valley has become Beijing's only national green industrial park awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and has been rated as a national five-star demonstration base.

Airport Industry

The airport industry is developed in Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone which consists of three areas: the aviation logistics area, the scientific and technological innovation area, and the service support area. Besides the policies for the two free trade zones and the comprehensive bonded zone, the zone introduced several measures to support the development of new forms and models of foreign trade, while executing 101 administrative approvals delegated by the municipal government. Numerous leading enterprises in the logistics and the aviation industries have been established in the zone, while the construction of the international exchange functional area, with international exhibition and consumption hub as its core, has been progressing. The comprehensive bonded zone has operated in a close loop, establishing an efficient customs clearance and supervision model featuring "one system, one-time cargo tallying and inspection, and one-off release".

Advanced Manufacturing Industry

Advanced Manufacturing Industry: The district saw the complete transition of a traditional industrial park to a major hub for the digital economy within a year. With a planned area of 4.16 square kilometers, the park focuses on the development of a "one-core, two-wings" industrial system (with the new-generation software as the core, and digital health and digital culture as the key industries). It was the first in the city to launch the "Ten Policies for Digital Development", and opened up 15 application scenarios such as those involving large AI models, attracting a batch of digital economy innovation-leading enterprises such as China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and Beijing Yusys Technologies Co., Ltd. The information and software industry realized a total revenue of CNY 10 billion within the same year of the cultivation.

China-Japan Innovation and Cooperation Demonstration Zone

China-Japan Innovation and Cooperation Demonstration Zone: Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, it is the first international cooperation demonstration zone centered on "innovation". With a planned area of 10 square kilometers, it focuses on digital economy, advanced intelligent manufacturing, pharmaceutical and healthcare, and many other industries. It pilots internationalized protection of intellectual property rights, and the alignment with international innovation systems, among others. Its international intellectual property services have been selected as a municipal-level reform and innovation case for the construction of the "Two Zones".

Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone

Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone: With a planned area of 2 square kilometers, it has already become home to more than 200 key enterprises such as State Fuel Cell Corporation and Beijing Juxing Huatong Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd.. The city's first hydrogen energy carbon emission reduction transaction has been successfully completed here, and the National Hydrogen Power Quality Inspection and Testing Center has been constructed. It has successfully been listed as one of Beijing's first 10 high-quality industrial parks.

Beijing Commercial Aerospace Industry Base

Beijing Commercial Aerospace Industry Base: With a planned area of 2 square kilometers, it focuses on industries such as satellite and rocket assembly and integration, ground terminal manufacturing, satellite communication and navigation applications, and space information services. It has introduced a batch of leading, high-tech, high value-added, and high-efficiency enterprises, unicorn enterprises, and R&D centers in the aerospace field, including Beijing Interstellar Intelligent Manufacturing Technology, THU Power, and Weizhi Aviation Technology Company. The first phase of the base, covering an area of 219 mu (14.6 hectares), is now attracting investment.
