Gao Peng, male, Han ethnicity, was born in July 1972. He holds a doctorate degree in Economics and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Gao is currently a member of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and Vice Mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities:

Gao is in charge of work related to urban management, transportation, agriculture and rural affairs, and assists in emergency management.

Gao oversees Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management (Office of Beijing Urban Environmental Development Committee), Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (Beijing Municipal Bureau of Rural Revitalization), Tiananmen Management Committee of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing Major Railway Station Areas Administration, and Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences.

Gao assists in overseeing Beijing Emergency Management Bureau.

Gao is in charge of liaison with Beijing Fire and Rescue Corps, Beijing Earthquake Agency, Beijing Municipal Postal Administration, and China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd.
