Yu Yingjie, male, Han ethnicity, was born in October 1973. He holds a doctorate degree in Engineering and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Yu is currently a member of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and Vice Mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities: 

Yu is in charge of work related to science and technology, market regulation, radio and television, intellectual property, and counsellors' affairs. Yu is also in charge of work related to national laboratories in Beijing.

Yu oversees Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park (Beijing Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs), Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Office of Beijing Municipal Food and Drug Safety Committee), Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, Counsellors' Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality (Beijing Municipal Institute for Culture and History), and Beijing Academy of Science and Technology.

Yu is in charge of liaison with Beijing Association for Science and Technology.
