For the 2025 Labor Day holiday, Beijing WTown will launch a brand-new themed event titled "A Fantastic Encounter at Beijing WTown" (奇遇古北水镇). Through immersive experience scenarios, the event will seamlessly blend traditional Chinese culture with modern technologies to offer visitors a cultural feast.

This event aims to creatively upgrade the cultural experience from mere sightseeing to immersive participation, allowing visitors to become active participants rather than passive observers. They can toast with a staff worker dressed like the poet Li Bai, learn traditional tie-dyeing techniques from another staff worker playing the role of Xi Shi (one of the renowned Four Beauties of ancient China), and even take lanterns to tour the Great Wall at night.

During the event, 400 drones and 80 sky lanterns will take turns performing in the night sky. There will also be smart robots roaming around and interacting with guests. These arrangements are expected to inject fresh vitality into traditional Chinese culture through modern technologies.

One of the major highlights is "A Marvelous Encounter Under Starry Skies at Great Wall" (星空长城奇遇), which integrates cultural experiences, interactive activities, and social sharing. Visitors can make their own lanterns, join professional performers in hanfu (traditional attire of the Han ethnic group) for a nighttime stroll through Beijing WTown, and witness a spectacular interplay between drones and the starry skies.
