On May 28, Shijingshan District of Beijing Municipality attended a video conference to mark the "City Day" celebrations hosted by the Russian city of Chita as part of the international sister city partnership.

Fruitful results have been  achieved in their cooperation in economic issues, culture, sports and other various fields since the establishment of the sister city relationship between Shijingshan District and Chita in 2011.

Shijingshan District has been invited to attend the "City Day" celebrations of Chita City on multiple occasions. The two places have also jointly held a video conference themed "Women Change the World", carried out the youth exchange program "Chinese Language Internship Group" of Chita City and other activities. Shijingshan District will continue to deepen the sister city relationship, and further explore "cloud diplomacy", build platforms to gather resources and promote pragmatic cooperation.
