International Community at the Maizidian Street

The Maizidian Street is located in the Yansha Business Circle and adjacent to Beijing CBD. It can be further divided into five communities with a total area of 6.8 square kilometers, 35,103 resident population and 2,100 organizations. Because of relatively high proportion of non-local residents, foreigners, foreign enterprises and foreign organizations in the area, the Maizidian Street has developed into a new community with rich international resources since the end of 1980s.

The third embassy area, the Yansha Business Circle, the Chaoyang Park, and National Agriculture Exhibition Hall become centers of international politics, business, entertainment and recreation, and exhibition economy respectively, which are also four main superiorities of the community. An International community, with developed modern service industry, colorful international exchanges and prosperous economy, has been formed.
