Dongcheng Park

Taking culture as its connotation and technology as its means, Dongcheng Park focuses on developing cultural and creative industry. The park is composed of four major industry clusters; intellectual property, digital content, cultural & tourism & leisure and traditional Chinese medicine science and culture.

Intellectual property industry of Dongcheng Park takes copyright trade and cultural industry trade as the focus, and cultural finance, copyright resources, integrated services as the supplement. It aims to be the most important cultural industry factor market in Beijing and across the country. 

The main development area of digital content industry in Dongcheng Park is digital new media. Large media enterprise, digital content and a key technology provider of digital content are the kernels of its development. 

The historical and cultural heritage sites of Guozijian, Yonghe Lama Temple, Bell and Drum towers, Ditan, etc., actively guide the leisure and tourism industry of Dongcheng Park.

Relying on China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) science and culture industry of Dongcheng Park focuses on industries like TCM treatment, health care, health regime, leisure, information and consulting and so on. 

Xicheng Park

Xicheng Park's leading industries are R&D and design, financial back-office service, cultural creativity and high-end trade. The park is also adjusting its spatial distribution and promoting industrial development and spatial transformation.

Chaoyang Park

Chaoyang Park will work hard to achieve new breakthroughs in nine areas including planning submission, the land acquisition process, arrangement for changing employees, investment attraction, policy support, road clear, innovative service, independent innovation and coordinated development. Through six major systems Chaoyang Park hopes to realize its overall goal of a more reasonable industry structure, outstanding feature of leading industry, markedly increased innovation capability, a sound service system and fast increase of economic aggregate. These major systems include innovative planning and industry development guidance system, policy support system, coordination and promotion system of development and construction, industry promotion and service system, environment protection system, the internal operation system of management committee, and focusing on electronic information industry, the bio-engineering and pharmaceutical industry and high-tech service industry.

Haidian Park

Haidian Park emphasizes the development of the financial service, creative, new materials and biomedicine industries. The park facilitates the growth of the mechanical and electronic integration industry. Meanwhile, it is consolidating its leading position as the electronic information industry. The park aims to facilitate enterprises with proprietary intellectual property rights, build university S&T parks and overseas students' pioneer parks into major platforms for emerging industries.

Fengtai Park

Fengtai S&T Park realized a total revenue of 195 billion CNY ($30.69) in 2010, and has obtained strong industrial agglomeration effects. The major industries in the park include electronic information, biomedicine, new materials, new energy, as well as engineering services, rail transit, military aerospace, cultural and creative industries and producer service industry. With more than ten years of development, the park has gradually formed the headquarters of an economic zone and is playing an increasingly important role in the development of southern Beijing.

Shijingshan Park

Shijingshan district is positioned as the Capital Recreation District (CRD), which concentrates on the development on the cultural and creative, new and high-tech, and S&T service industries to become a new growth pole of the regional economy and engine of CRD.

Featuring cultural creativity and digital entertainment, Shijingshan Park has attracted the National Digital Media Technology Industrialization Base, National Online Game and Cartoon Industry Development Base, China E-sports Development Center and National Animation Industry Base. At present, the number of digital culture and creativity companies has exceeded 600, and more than 1,000 digital entertainment products have been developed.

Fangshan Park

Fangshan Park covers an area of 15.73 square kilometers. It includes Beijing Petrochemical New Materials High-tech industry Base, Beijing High-end Manufacture Industry Base, Beijing Liangxiang Economic Development Zone, Beijing Haiju Base, and Beijing Higher Education Zone. 

Tongzhou Park

Tongzhou Park prioritizes world-class industries of optic-mechanical integration, environmental protection and new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing. The park features microelectronics, optoelectronics, automotive electronics, avionics, advanced equipment manufacturing, intellectual instruments, laser technology, numerical control machine, printing machinery, medical equipment, semiconductor material, environmental protection equipment and auto parts.

Daxing Biomedicine Industrial Base

As one of the three core areas of Being National Bio-industrial Bases, Daxing Biomedicine Industrial Base has taken full advantage of Beijing's industrial resources in terms of scientific research and administration to build an industrial park of R&D, manufacturing, sales and services.

The base has four development and support priorities – bio-pharmaceutical projects centering on vaccine and protein drugs; the import of modernized and internationalized TCM enterprises to drive the growth of medicine, health care products; the introduction of medical instrument programs to consolidate the leading position of Beijing in the field of instrument and diagnosis; and last but not least is to bring in innovative drugs and high-end generic drug industrialization projects to form preparation products that meet international certification standards.

Yizhuang Park

After more than a decade's development, Beijing Yizhuang has shaped four leading industries - electronic information, biomedicine, automobile making and equipment manufacturing. Yizhuang will further adjust its industrial structure and support the cultivation of three emerging industries – new energy and materials, army-civilian combination, cultural and creative industries. In addition, the park will develop the producer service industry, S&T innovation service and the urban industry.

Changping Park

Focusing on key materials, new energy, major equipment, information services and other pillar industries of the state, Changping Park has developed into a crucial technical innovation base, innovative personnel cultivation base, and has formed a national engineering technology R&D center as well as a cluster of corporate R&D centers.

The Zhongguancun Life Science Park in Changping Park is an important component of the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park and a professional high-tech park themed on life science research, R&D and innovation in relevant fields of biotechnology and biomedicine.

Pinggu Park

Pinggu Park will focus on developing ten major industries in accordance with the principles of complementary and diverse development, undertaken in five industrial bases.These include food processing, high-end equipment manufacturing, general aviation, modern logistics, music creation, biomedicine, green power, e-commerce, rail transit, energy conservation and environment protection, and manage to create an eco-industry, cultural, science and technology park.

Yanqing Park

Relying on Badaling Economic Development Zone, Yanqing Economic Development Zone and Kangzhuang Industrial Park, the park has a primary layout of "multi bases in one park" centered on Beijing New Energy Industrial Base. Taking advantage of the Beijing New Energy Industrial Base, National Green Energy Demonstration County's settlement in Yanqing and their access to Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone, continuous focus will placed on new energy and the environment protection industry. Now it has been clustered with new energy and environment protection industries, such as Sinomatech Wind Power Blade Co., Ltd, Beijing Jingyi Renewable Energy Engineering Co., Ltd, Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Ltd, Beijing Jingcheng Compressor Co., Ltd, CAS 1 Mw optothermal generating, new energy incubator, 2 Mw roof photovoltaic generating and smart micro-grid. 

High-end equipment manufacturing and general aviation industry, which link with leading industries, should be developed actively to maintain a modern service industry. Efforts should be made to create a new energy and environment protection industries cluster, which integrates design and research, achievement incubation, manufacturing, inspection, and demonstration. Efforts should also be made in creating a high-end service functional zone clustered intensively by productive service industries. These industries should include headquarter bases for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, backstage service for finance and insurance, research and development, and training program to promote optimization and adjustment of industrial layout in Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone. This will allow for the achievement of a dislocation and synergetic development in the park.
