The 2023 Cultural Festival of Western Hill and Yongding River Beijing kicked off on the evening of June 25 at the No.3 Blast Furnace in Shougang Park. Five series of themed events will be held and last until August, featuring ancient architecture restoration, archaeological site observation, etc. During these events, visitors will be invited to appreciate the beautiful scenery and cultural heritage of the Western Hills-Yongding River Cultural Belt. The festival is hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and organized by Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, the CPC Shijingshan District Committee, Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and other publicity departments of the CPC committees, bureaus of culture and tourism, and other relevant institutions of the districts covered by the Western Hills-Yongding River Cultural Belt.
