The Sixth Lao She Theatre Festival 2022 will take place in Beijing. Beginning on September 14 and continuing until the middle of December, the festival will showcase 50 theatrical pieces of over 20 Chinese and international productions featuring such timeless classics as Faces in the Crowd (俗世奇人), Red Sorghum (红高粱家族), The Dreamer (惊梦), Anna Karenina, and Kyozou No Doukeshi (虚像的道化师) and 50 plus theatre-related cultural activities in theatres located along the Central Axis of Beijing including Drum Tower West Theatre, Poly Theatre, Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, Jixiang Theater, and Longfu Cultural Center.
