The 3rd Beijing Forest City Art Festival and the 5th Jiangfu Park Forest Photography Art Season officially commenced on April 18, 2023, with the latter lasting for three months.

Jiangfu Park is known for its Chinese violet cresses which are now in their blooming season, covering many areas of the park. In the evening, there are still many tourists jogging by and photographing these flowers. The flashlights give the park a new look while the photos taken there present to visitors numerous wonderful moments captured by lens.

This year's Beijing Forest City Art Festival is centered around a photography art exhibition, with three major sections consisting of seven themed exhibitions. highlighting the images of the birds and plant that live and grow there. At the same time, large-scale art installations based on forest landscapes and outdoor scenes will also be on display.

Jiangfu Park has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chinese National Geography Channel, which enables the two sides to work together to create an IP brand based on the the park's landscape for the park's cultural ecosystem.

The three-month-long event in Jiangfu Park will feature sub-events with artistic and cultural content, such as a job fair for university and college students, outdoor parent-child classes, and outdoor movie screenings, which will bring visitors richer urban park experiences.

Chaoyang District is scattered with "parks at doorsteps" like Jiangfu Park, allowing residents to visit parks without walking miles from their homes. Jiangtai Township, for example, has Jiangfu Park which covers an area of 1.41 million square meters and Side Park which covers an area of 167,000 square meters. Other parks include Lidu Wentou Ring Road Park, Lidu Garden, Tuofangying Sports Park, the Lilac Garden, Beiyaodi Small Park, and Bahe Waterfront Park. Jiangtai has 527 hectares of green area in the town, representing a green coverage rate of 46 percent in the township.
