BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- A photography exhibition marking China's achievements in wildlife protection kicked off in Beijing on Friday.

The exhibition displays over 100 wildlife-themed photos involving wildlife habitat protection, scientific research, and international cooperation on wildlife protection.

The exhibition aims to guide the public to respect nature, follow its way, and protect it, said Wang Xiaoting, deputy secretary-general of the China Wildlife Conservation Association, at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Co-hosted by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the China Wildlife Conservation Association, the exhibition will last until Oct. 25.
