BEIJING, July 19 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition featuring folk art of east China's Shandong Province has kicked off at the National Museum of China in Beijing.

More than 1,500 pieces or sets of folk art collection from Shandong, covering agricultural implements, furniture and utensils, clothing and entertainment, have displayed people's production and lifestyles in the province's rural areas.

The exhibition has combined traditional folk art with achievements in academic research. It is scheduled to remain open to the public for three months.
