The Bird's Nest recently launched the trial operation of a "Dual-Olympic" themed tour route which aims to provide tourists with a memorable experience and will officially open during the Labor Day holiday this May.

The new tour route connects nearly 10 noteworthy attractions including the Golden Hall on the ground level, the main competition track and field, the VIP reception area on the second floor, a steel viewing platform on the fifth floor, and Dingmei Air Corridor. The stage area of the competition track and field has just opened to the public for the first time.

Tourists can now go to the stage area to get a look of its iconic installations including the main torch, which resembles a giant snowflake, and the skateboard-like Olympic podium. Tourists can interact with the two renowned mascots, "Bing Dwen Dwen" and "Shuey Rhon Rhon", and take group photos with them in the Golden Hall. In addition, the panoramic view of the Olympic Park and Beijing Central Axis can be captured from the roof at night.

Since the launch of this operation, the Bird's Nest has for the first time introduced a "Dual-Olympic" themed ice cream. Other products to be released and sold include the licensed products of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, as well as cultural and creative products like souvenirs, stationery items and toys.

The Bird's Nest will strictly implement the city’s relevant pandemic preventive policies during its operation. Visitors must undergo temperature checks and present Health Kits and travel code verifications before they can enter the tour.

The daily opening hours of the venue during the trial period are 9:00-21:30 (ticket sales start at 9:00, stop at 20:30 and the venue closes at 21:30).

You can search for "巢票" (ID: NESTICKET) through the WeChat mini-program to make a ticket reservation for the Bird's Nest and learn more information about the tickets and pandemic prevention requirements, etc.
