The ginkgo avenue at Ditan Park is the oldest ginkgo avenue in Beijing. More than 200 ginkgo trees were planted here in the late 1950s. In  late autumn, the falling ginkgo leaves together with the solemn imperial altar build up a unique scenery of "red walls and golden leaves", making the historical capital more picturesque.

The Ditan Ginkgo Festival is a branded activity promoted by the park in recent years, which attracts many tourists every year.

The 8th Ditan Ginkgo Festival, under the theme of "Ginkgo Bringing Love to Happy Life", consists of a series of activities such as photography contest featuring "Deep Autumn Beautiful Ginkgo" and exhibitions that celebrate Beijing's time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage.

You are welcome to visit Ditan and relax here!
