Another boutique courtyard, "Meishan", in the Moshikou area, has completed its renovation and is set to make its debut.

"Meishan" is located at 51 Moshikou North Street, which used to be old, dilapidated houses with serious illegal construction.

This renovation continues the traditional architectural layout of western Beijing's quadrangles, emphasizing regional architectural features. Local traditional building materials like Chinese-style tiles and western Beijing's traditional chessboard-style roofs are employed. The high and low eaves harmonized with the distant mountains, bringing back the charm of the past in the courtyard.

The "Meishan" courtyard follows the spatial form of traditional quadrangles, divided into the public area, accommodation area, and dining area, forming three distinct courtyard spaces. These areas also present different formats, interconnected by a veranda.

The dining area courtyard is equipped with a café and a Western-style restaurant, offering great scenic views for diners. The accommodation area has a total of seven guest rooms, with one facing south and featuring a small courtyard for added privacy. The open corridor provides comfortable outdoor leisure space, enhancing the hierarchical dimension to the spatial form.

After opening, "Meishan" will operate as a boutique accommodation and dining facility, with the main focus on Italian cuisine. To bring authentic Italian food to Moshikou, the restaurant has invited Pino, a world-class Pizza champion chef, to regularly oversee the quality, aiming to create a new high-quality and authentic Italian dining experience.
