During the Grand View Garden Temple Fair (also known as the Red Chamber Temple Fair), in addition to the reproduction of the scene of paying visits to parents and elders in the Spring Festival from A Dream of Red Mansions, excellent shows featuring traditional folk customs of Beijing such as folk performances, leather-silhouette shows and puppet plays will take the stage, allowing tourists to have an in-person experience of the charm of traditional Chinese culture. As one of the most popular international cultural activities in Beijing during the Spring Festival, Beijing Chaoyang International Spring Carnival allows tourists not only to enjoy Chinese and foreign cultural performances, but also to taste various types of local snacks in China. Based on the Great Wall culture and with the temple fair culture as the main clue, the Great Wall temple fair in Beijing Wtown combines food culture, folk culture, leisure culture, and ice and snow culture, and reproduces the hustles and bustles of the Great Wall fair temple in ancient times, through which, tourists can understand the Great Wall culture from a more comprehensive perspective. The Badachu (also known as Badachu Park) gets its name because of the eight ancient temples and nunneries scattered in the mountains. The temple fair of Badachu Park is the only temple fair held in temples in the city area of Beijing, with a rich folk customs of the Han Ethnic Group and a strong local flavor of Beijing.
