Brass Quintet

On October 14, the Brilliant Brass Quintet from Guangzhou Symphony plays a variety of fanfares and popular tunes, which would satisfy the wildest imagination of the brass instruments.

As one of the best chamber ensembles in China, the Brilliant Brass Quintet is loved across the

nation with their innovative performing style and repertoire, which this concert exemplifies. Opening with Hayato Hirose's Cotswolds Pictures premiered in China by this very quintet, this concert continues with an arrangement of Puccini's famous aria "Quando m'en vo'" which showcases the lyrical side of brass instruments, and explodes with a wide range of genres with music old and new, demonstrating an unorthodox artistic ideal that ensures many enjoyable moments.
