Sanlitun Subdistrict of Chaoyang District, Beijing, recently released the first International Young Talent Innovation List, with 30 young people included.

Home to multiple foreign embassies, Sanlitun is also one of Beijing's core business districts with numerous office buildings and shopping malls. Every day, 100,000 to 150,000 people come to Sanlitun, most of whom are young people, according to an official of Sanlitun Subdistrict. Given that, the subdistrict is speeding up the building of the Sanlitun International Innovation Block Ecosystem to set up a stage for global innovation and entrepreneurship as well as youth exchanges.

30 outstanding young people made it to the 2022 Sanlitun International Young Talent Innovation List. A majority of them are entrepreneurs in Sanlitun, or heads of businesses who intend to set up their companies on this subdistrict. The innovation list covers three major fields, namely international consumption, cultural creativity and digital economy.

The 2022 Sanlitun International Youth Innovation and Development Report was also released. The report shows that 52.74 percent of the workers in Sanlitun subdistrict are aged 18 to 34, which registers an expansive population pyramid with innovative vitality. These people take diversified types of jobs including designers, singers, music producers and other innovative workers.

In the future, Sanlitun Subdistrict will organize a series of themed salons centering on innovative groups such as foreign embassies in China, international chambers of commerce, front-line investment institutions, and global entrepreneurs. It will also create an annual brand of "Sanlitun International Young Talent Innovation List" to attract more promising young talents to pursue their personal development in Sanlitun.
