As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Beijing's Municipal parks, the China National Botanical Garden, and The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture have announced 35 themed activities both online and on site for visitors to experience the traditional culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Summer Palace will hold a cultural exhibition featuring osmanthus. Zizhuyuan Park has scheduled an online livestreaming event to introduce traditional customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Zhongshan Park will hold flower exhibitions in Tanghuawu and Huifangyuan and an exhibition of traditional goldfish culture in Yuyuan.

Beihai Park will have a lantern riddle activity in Yong'an Temple, and staff of the Beijing Zoo and Taoranting Park will teach visitors how to make lanterns and moon cakes. Yuyuantan Park is going to hold ecological civilization park tour activities. The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture will stage an opera performance both online and on site.

Tiantan Park is going to invite visitors to learn about the history and culture of the Temple of Heaven and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Activities aimed at promoting science will be held in Zhongshan Park at Kepu Xiaowu and Huifangyuan.

The China National Botanical Garden (North Park) will host a variety of engaging activities such as sachet making and modeling dough figurines of succulent plants. Tiantan Park will hold a moon viewing session on their 5G livestreaming.

On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Fragrant Hills Park will combine 5G livestreaming with classic poetry recitation, inviting visitors to experience traditional Chinese culture.

Note:

Negative nucleic acid testing results within 72 hours are required for admission, and visitors will cooperate with park staff to have their temperature checked and QR code scanned.
