The Workshop & Masterclass aims to collect and share the experience and wisdom of the filmmakers around the globe. In this year's event, Peter Chan, an "omnipotent" Chinese filmmaker, will hold a masterclass. Famous screenwriter Zhang Ji will be a guest to have a conversation with Peter Chan during the masterclass.

As a director, he made great achievements in both box office and reputation from films like Comrades: Almost a Love Story, American Dreams in China and Leap. He also supervised several films in mainland China and Hong Kong, such as Protégé, Soul Mate and Coffee or Tea?. Peter Chan will share his experience of creation in the past thirty years as a director and producer.
