Entering a new decade, the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), on a global perspective, invites Bille August, Danish director, screenwriter and producer, to hold a masterclass with Chinese young director Wei Shujun to share his career experience and wisdom on creation.

Bille August was granted Palme d'Or at the Festival de Cannes twice for Pelle the Conqueror and The Best Intentions, the third director of the world joining the "club of two-time Golden Palm winners". In 2017, he served as the Jury President of Tiantan Award at the 7th BJIFF.
