Beijing has been providing nucleic acid testing services on odd and even days respectively in two categories of districts (areas) since May 10th to aid the public in meeting public venue entrance requirements (with negative PCR test results within 48 hours) starting May 12. Six districts, namely Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian, Fengtai and Shijingshan, carry out nucleic acid tests on odd days. The other 11 districts, namely Mentougou, Fangshan, Tongzhou, Shunyi, Changping, Daxing, Pinggu, Huairou, Miyun, Yanqing and the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, provide services on even days. Key screening areas located in the aforementioned districts shall implement their own testing measures, with the other areas allowing citizens to receive nucleic tests on a voluntary basis. Meanwhile, nucleic testing sites in all the districts provide 24-hour services to meet some citizens' special needs concerning the tests. The testing frequencies remain unchanged for key areas like lockdown and control zones, as well as for key groups like close contacts and high-risk groups.
