On June 12, Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control announced that crowded areas or venues providing catering service should strictly implement prevention and control measures such as limiting the volume of visitors, mandating temperature measurement and QR code scanning, and requiring negative PCR testing results within 72 hours, while ensuring no omissions in any case.

All residents should also comply with COVID-19 containment regulations, take nucleic acid tests as required, avoid gatherings, scan QR codes and show proof of negative nucleic acid testing results before entering public places. Also people shall correctly wear masks, sanitize hands, and keep up social distancing practices.
