Those entering (returning to) Beijing in their own vehicles shall present the green-code status in the "Beijing Health Kit" and show the negative result of a nucleic acid test taken within 48 hours before their arrival for verification at the checkpoints.

A2: The printed certificate and the digital one are both acceptable. The digital certificate can be accessed on the "Beijing Health Kit", "Alipay Health Code", and the WeChat official mini-program of the State Council.

Please be noted that the tested people shall promise that they do not have a travel or residence history in any area where local residetns are restricted from entering Beijing, and shall strictly follow the pandemic prevention and control policies in Beijing. Those who intentionally provide false information or break the aforementioned promises shall bear legal responsibilities.

Q9: How do I know if I am a commuter from neighboring areas of Beijing?

A9: The Beijing police have established a commuter database based on the inspection records at the checkpoint, the time and the frequency of entering (returning to) Beijing and other information. The negative result of a nucleic acid test taken within 48 hours provided at the beginning by those registered in the database will be valid for 14 days.

Q10: What about people who need to commute to Beijing but are yet to be registered in the database?

A10: They can present their residence certificate of neighboring areas of Beijing, employment certificate from the employer in Beijing and negative result of a nucleic acid test taken within 48 hours to the staff at the checkpoint. Then, the police will verify these materials as soon as possible, and include them as commuters into the database for management.

Note: Residence certificate can be a household register, or a house lease contract, or a certificate issued by the neighborhood (village) committee. Employment certificate shall be issued by an employer in Beijing.
