More appointments for nucleic acid tests (NAT) will be available in Beijing, in response to citizens' rising demand for COVID-19 testing around the Spring Festival. In principle, national public laboratories and COVID-19 testing centers at the municipal level will offer 2,000 to 3,000 appointments daily via multiple channels, and testing sites at the district level will provide 500 to 1,000 appointments. Appointments available in other hospitals should be no less than 1/3 of their testing capabilities.

In addition, regular appointments can be scheduled on the Health Kit mini-program at present. People may make a reservation for a nucleic acid test via Health Kit, in addition to other online and offline approaches including 114, phone calls, websites, mobile applications, mini-programs, WeChat official accounts, self-service machines, service desks, etc. Test results will be updated accordingly in Health Kit in a timely manner.

As of February 9, people are able to make nucleic acid test appointments via Health Kit at any of the 14 appointed hospitals such as Xuanwu Hospital, Beijing Friendship Hospital, Beijing Anzhen Hospital and Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital.
