On January 29, Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau jointly issued the notice on further expanding food categories covered by the Beijing cold-chain traceability system.

According to the notice, effective on February 12, 2021, all imported cold-chain foods stored at or below zero degrees Celsius shall be included for safety tracking with  Beijing Cold-Chain, an online cold-chain food traceability system. The scope is further expanded to cover more imported cold-chain foods from frozen cereals (e.g. rice, noodles) to frozen dairy products (e.g. butter, cheese), frozen vegetables, frozen fruits, frozen beverages (including juice and ice cream), and others.

Beijing Cold-Chain traceability system is accessible either by visiting the web portal (https://sp.scjgj.beijing.gov.cn/cctp/login) or by searching "Beijing Cold-Chain" mini-program with WeChat or Alipay mobile applications.  .
