To prevent imported cases and improve levels of standardization, Beijing has further unified measures for nucleic acid test verifications of inbound travellers from Hong Kong. This decision was reached by negotiation with relevant departments in accordance with the capital's coordination mechanism of joint prevention and control on tightening entry management. The measures are as follows:

Starting January 27, inbound travellers entering Beijing via direct flight from Hong Kong must present valid negative nucleic acid test results issued by a testing institution recognized by the HKSAR government within the past 7 days (starting from the date of issuance). The report must include the traveller's name and ID number, as well as other information in Chinese or English including sampling method, time of testing, test result, issuance date and signature of the traveller. Airline companies will check for relevant documentation during boarding, and those whose test verifications do not meet the requirements will not be allowed to board. Upon arrival in Beijing, all travellers must strictly abide by Beijing's policies and regulations for pandemic prevention and control.

Passengers planning to travel to Beijing from Hong Kong should learn about Beijing's policies and regulations about COVID-19 prevention and control in advance, complete their nucleic acid test at a testing institution recognized by the HKSAR government in a timely manner, actively collect test results that meet unified standards, and cooperate with all inspections during the boarding process.
