How long will it take to produce antibodies against COVID-19 after vaccination with an inactivated vaccine?

The previous clinical trials of inactivated COVID-19 vaccine showed satisfied immunogenicity in the vaccinated population about two weeks after the second dose of inactivated vaccines.

Will vaccinated people have to take the nucleic acid test? Is it possible to use  the vaccination certificate to substitute the test report?

A minor group of the vaccinated population may still test positive or become sick with COVID-19 for the following reasons:

1. Some vaccine recipients will not get effective protection due to immunization failure after full-dose vaccination. They may still test positive or become sick after being exposed to and infected by the novel coronavirus.

2. It will take some time for immunity to be produced after vaccination, while vaccine recipients may test positive or fall sick if getting infected by the virus during this period.

3. Patients in the incubation period of the disease or asymptomatic infected people may still test positive or become sick in spite of the inoculation.

As potential carriers of COVID-19, the above-mentioned groups shall receive nucleic acid tests as required for disease screening purposes, since the COVID-19 vaccination certificate cannot substitute the nucleic acid test report.
