The Chinese Academy of Engineering held a symposium, "Learning from the Scientific Spirit of Zhong Nanshan, Zhang Boli and Chen Wei" in Beijing on Tuesday. Zhong Nanshan, recipient of the Medal of the Republic, and Zhang Boli and Chen Wei, recipients of the national honorary title, "the People's Hero", attended the symposium.

On the same day, a meeting commending role models in China's fight against COVID-19 was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
