As a national intangible cultural heritage, Qingshen bamboo weaving has developed into a cultural symbol of Qingshen County, Sichuan Province, a name card of Meishan City and one of the three characteristic industries of rural revitalization and development of Qingshen County. With the success of the 2019 and 2020 “Bamboo and Life” International (Qingshen) Bamboo Products Creative Design Competitions, a lot of excellent designers at home and abroad participated in the competitions have injected great vitality into the development of Qingshen bamboo industry. In order to promote the high-quality development of Qingshen Bamboo Industry, the 2021 “Bamboo and Life” International (Qingshen) Bamboo Products Creative Design Competition, jointly organized by the Management Committee of Bamboo-Weaving Industrial Park of Qingshen County and Beijing Design Week Co., Ltd., is soliciting creative ideas for bamboo handicrafts, space design and daily necessities based on Qingshen bamboo art, to discover the practical functions of the products, expand the innovative application scenarios of Qingshen bamboo products, and realize the industrial integration and further upgrading.
