Consumption has become an indispensable social culture in people’s life, which is constantly changing with the development of the times. It covers all aspects of lifestyle, mainly in different types of consumption space. Design serves consumption and creates consumption at the same time. It creates better material and visual experience for consumption. Good consumption space design endows the consumption process with more senses of texture and temperature, endows new consumption connotation, and creates new consumption values. Beijing Design Week 2021, together with Time Out and Voyage, will jointly launch “Design Power: 2021 Beijing 100 New Consumption” List, selects four categories of urban consumption space, namely living, catering fashion, culture and art, and commercial comprehensive from the design concept of consumption space to the product and service experience in the space and other dimensions.

The list will be made into an exquisite manual and presented at the site of the design week. Together

with 8 grand masters in the professional design industry, we will explore the store, find those brands

and spaces that have the courage to innovate in the changes of the times, and feel the “Power of

Design” together.
