With the theme of “Design New Target 99+ Promote Sustainable Development”, the exhibition is open, enlightening, exploratory, and sustainable. For the first time, the exhibition tentatively puts forward sustainable characteristics and new design goals from the three dimensions of economy, society and environment, and displays excellent cases of sustainable design at home and abroad, in order to promote the public to understand more characteristics and connotation of sustainable design. Sustainable design not only aims at natural protection and human environment construction, but also promotes the long-term and effective development of enterprises and regional economy, increases the humanistic care of products, develops a new survival mode of harmonious coexistence with nature, and puts forward the vision of design promoting sustainable development.
The exhibition is infiltrated with the concept of sustainable design, contains innovation in exhibition methods and exhibition design, abandons the traditional method of onetime construction in the past, and uses environmental protection and reusability as the principle and means of exhibition design. The exhibition integrates the functions of physical exhibits, online display, audience interaction and urban devices, uses air model products for artistic design, closely combines design with sustainable development, and shows the diversified connotation of sustainable design. It is not only a discussion and practice of sustainable design in China, but also a beginning for design to promote sustainability.
