Since the beginning of the summer travel season in China, Beijing South Railway Station has been witnessing high passenger volumes. Beijing Major Railway Station Areas Administration advises that during peak travel times, the fastest way to leave the railway station is by taking the subway.

Beijing South Railway Station is well-connected with Line 4 and Line 14 of Beijing Subway. Passengers can transfer to the subway at the hall on the B1 floor upon exiting the station. Another preferred option is taking a bus. The north and south exits on the B1 floor give you easy access to the bus hubs located on the north and south of the railway station. In the evening, the Night 17, Night 24 and Night 15 buses are available for passengers heading to Beijing West Railway Station, Hepingdongqiao and Beijing Railway Station, respectively.

For those opting to take a taxi, there are two taxi service stations available at the east and west parking lots on the B1 floor. Passengers choosing to use ride-hailing services can find designated pick-up areas on Level M of the underground parking lot.

Tourists are advised to prioritize travel by the subway and buses during the rush periods of the summer travel season, as long periods of waiting for a taxi may delay your itinerary.
