The three main types of influenza viruses (Types A, B, and C), which are all quite common and widely spread, can cause laryngopharyngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchiolitis, and pneumonia. Vaccination is a common measure to prevent influenza viruses. What Can You Do to Prevent Influenza?
1. Maintain a healthy lifestyle by doing exercise and participating in outdoor activities to enhance the ability to resist cold weather and improve your immunity.
2. Live a balanced life and make sure to get enough sleep.
3. Ensure a good diet with healthy and nutritious food and make sure to drink enough water.
4. Try to avoid anxiety, stress, and bad habits, such as smoking and excessive drinking.
5. Open windows to ventilate and keep the indoor air fresh.
6. Do not share personal hygiene products with others.
7. People above 65, children, and other high-risk groups, including people with chronic diseases and those at higher risk of developing serious complications, are advised to get vaccinated in advance.
