With temperatures on the rise, we've once again entered the season for migratory birds to return. Serving as a restocking point along their path, Yanqing annually welcomes large flocks of these birds to pause and rest here in March and April, bringing a surge of life and vitality to the ancient land of Gui River.

On March 7, at the Beijing Yeya Lake Wetland Nature Reserve located in Yanqing, over 4,000 Common Cranes were observed returning, accompanied by substantial numbers of Bean Geese, Mallards, and Ruddy Shelducks, among others, searching for food on the lake's surface.
