A diverse flock of wild birds were recently observed near the Yuanbo Lake of Beijing Garden Expo Park, with more species recognized like hen harrier, black-winged kite, naumann's thrush, etc.

In the southwest of Beijing, the lake is part of the Fengtai water system along the Yongding River. Thanks to the scheme of ecological water replenishment in recent years, more species of wild birds are attracted to settle down in this ecologically improved area.

In addition to water resources conservation, series of actions have been taken to clean up the surrounding areas of the river course and restore the local water-based ecology from multiple dimensions, ultimately contributing to the sustainable development of the water environment.
