Recently, the 2024 Spring Cultural and Sports Launch Event was held, unveiling plans for 98 cultural and sports projects. Additionally, it was announced that nearly 30 top international and concert events have been scheduled to take place at the National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest", in 2024.

Following the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Bird’s Nest has resumed full operation, hosting approximately 100 cultural and sports events over the past two years and welcoming more than 3 million domestic and international visitors. In 2024, the number of major events at the Bird's Nest will increase by 40 percent compared to 2023. The venue plans to host nearly 30 top international events and concerts throughout this year, with some bookings extended to 2026. Additionally, the stadium aims to become a premier venue for athletics, equestrian competitions, large concerts, and other events, solidifying its position as a top-level international competition platform.

During the Launch Event, It was also announced that the National Aquatics Center, also known as the "Water Cube", will host at least 12 water and ice events this year. This includes the 2024 FINA Artistic Swimming World Cup (Beijing), scheduled to take place from April 5 to 7. Additionally, the National Speed Skating Oval, also known as the "Ice Ribbon", will host high-level domestic and international events such as the ISU Speed Skating World Cup.
