On March 19, Beijing Municipality announced that this year it will enhance service capabilities in areas such as payment, transportation, education, healthcare, and communication, continuously providing convenience for foreign nationals working, studying, living, and traveling in the capital.

Currently, Beijing has established an international web portal in nine languages including English, French, and Russian (https://english.beijing.gov.cn/). Additionally, people can also access information and services by following the English-language "BeijingService" WeChat Official Account. Furthermore, Beijing has established a comprehensive service system for foreigners, covering the entire city, including 416 government service centers at municipal, district, sub-district and township levels. There are 338 foreign language service windows in Beijing to provide multilingual support. The 12345 Government Service Hotline can handle calls in eight languages.

Next, Beijing will further address some of the concerns of its foreign residents. For example, in terms of payment, Beijing will focus on improving the convenience of payments through cash, overseas bank cards, and electronic means.

In the fields of education and healthcare, Beijing will enhance the construction of international schools and hospitals in areas where foreign talents gather, such as the "Three Science Cities and One Hi-tech Area" (Zhongguancun Science City, Huairou Science City, Future Science City and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area), Chaoyang District, and Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, to optimize the healthcare insurance settlement and commercial insurance services for foreigners.

Regarding airport services, both Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport have set up payment service centers for overseas visitors, and will expand their comprehensive service centers, aiming to enable visitors to enjoy integrated services including consultation, payment, tourism, transportation, and telecommunications upon arrival in Beijing.
