Visitors appreciate the artworks of Henri Matisse

On July 13, the first-ever large solo exhibition of Henri Matisse in China was launched at UCCA Center for Contemporary Art in 798 Art District. The exhibition will be open to the public from July 15. Henri Matisse is a prominent figure in modern art and the founder of Fauvism, a significant art form in the 20th century.

Titled "Matisse by Matisse", this exhibition displays the entire art career and art concept of Matisse through over 280 artworks. During the exhibition, UCCA Center for Contemporary Art will organize dialogues centering on exhibition planning, workshops, exchanges related to video art, performances, etc. In addition, a series of art workshops for kids and summer camps will also be available to help kids explore Matisse's career in artistic creation. The exhibition will run until October 15.
