The second part of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) was recently held in Montreal, Canada. As the presidency, China coordinated and promoted the adoption of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework at the second part of the meeting, drawing a new blueprint for global biodiversity conservation.

In order to support the conference, the "Colorful World" International Youth Painting Invitation Exhibition hosted by the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries was unveiled at the "China Corner" of the conference, with the theme of "Protecting Biodiversity and Building a Shared Future for All Life on Earth". A total of 43,000 young people from all provincial-level regions in China, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and 50 countries around the world participated in the exhibition. More than 200 works won the first prize and were displayed electronically at the "China Corner". The exhibition presented the "Colorful World" through the eyes of young people from all over the world, and advocated the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
