As an iconic event of Beijing's cultural consumption, the Beijing People Benefit Cultural Consumption Season has been successfully held ten times since its inception in 2013. This year's consumption season will be co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, and State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center of Beijing Municipality. The consumption season will focus on the building of the "Two Zones" and Beijing's development into a cultural center, a global benchmark city for digital economy, and an international consumption center. Furthermore, it will closely follow key topics such as culture-empowered urban renewal, digital consumption, and the development of cultural industry parks.

The solicitation is open to all cultural enterprises, public institutions and industry associations in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Those who plan to carry out all kinds of cultural business, exhibitions and fairs, or culture-themed activities in the region between May and October can apply. Various cultural forms are welcomed, including theatre, film and television screenings, book reading, interactive experience, art appreciation, fashion and technology, tourist routes, cultural and creative fairs, trendy culture experience, and digital culture. The consumption season's organizing committee will provide approved projects with all-media publicity and promotion, platform resources and planning guidance, while those failing to win approval will be included in Beijing's cultural consumption project reserve.

The solicitation will last until 18:00 on April 21, and all eligible institutions can apply on the official website of the State-owned Cultural Assets Administration Center of Beijing Municipality (http://wzb.beijing.gov.cn/).
