To facilitate the  high-quality economic and social development of Shijingshan, promote the  building of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up  the Services Sector and China (Beijing) Free Trade Zone (collectively  known as the "Two Zones"), broaden the Shijingshan's channels of opening  up, and enhance exchanges and cooperation between Shijingshan and  international organizations, the People's Government of Shijingshan  District of Beijing Municipality and FinnCham Beijing has established a  long-term and stable strategic partnership after signing a memorandum of  understanding (MOU).

FinnCham Beijing, the Beijing branch of Finnish Chamber of Commerce, is  an important liaison and service organization for Finnish enterprises in  China. Since its establishment of contact with Shijingshan in 2021, the  two sides have made in-depth communication in strengthening cooperation  in leading industries, facilitating the import of high-quality  resources, and carrying out international exchanges and cooperative  events.

According to the MOU, the two sides will work jointly to establish a  long-term and stable strategic partnership, so as to determine the first  batch of projects supported by both sides, import resources for  relevant industries, and promote international exchanges and cooperation  in multiple dimensions. The signing of the MOU will also help  Shijingshan further expand the "matchmaking" channels for high-quality  and export-oriented resources, enhance the district's capacity and  capability of promoting the industrial transformation and opening-up of  the district, and further support the building of the "Two Zones" as  well as regional transformation and development.
