Fengtai District of Beijing Municipality recently released the Three-year Action Plan for the High-quality Development of Beijing Lize Financial Business District, aiming at building the Lize Financial Business District (hereinafter referred to as "Lize") into a primary platform for opening-up and communication in the southern part of Beijing.

In response to the needs of high-end businesspeople and travelers in Lize for business socializing, personal services and cultural entertainment, Fengtai District will connect various commercial centers such as the PingAn Fortune Center, Lize SOHO, and PingAn Finance Center with the Luotuowan Street as the main axis, so as to develop open commercial districts and blocks. Moreover, the district will build 34-kilometer-long eco-friendly walking trials linking waters, parks and green belts to provide a green, pleasant walking experience. Centering on the demands and consumption habits of businesspeople, the district will introduce themed and international catering businesses, high-end brands for personal services, night-time recreation and entertainment businesses, and innovative consumption forms related to new economy. Through these efforts, the district will build a good living environment for business elites, promote the regional consumption upgrading and scenario innovation, and meet the diverse leisure and entertainment needs of people in international and high-end industries.

Fengtai District will develop Lize into a "hub" for the financial business development of the southern part of Beijing. Meanwhile, it will comprehensively promote the planning and construction of the Lize City Terminal, Subway Line 16, the new airport line, and other key projects to make Lize play a more significant role in the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
