According to the Beijing Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, the epidemic prevention and control in Beijing is currently at a critical stage. People who come or return to Beijing shall take two nucleic acid tests within 72 hours of arrival, with the first within 24 hours of arrival and the second 24 hours after the first. Moreover, they shall stay at home before negative nucleic acid test results are available. Within 7 days of arrival, they shall refrain from dinning out, gathering, or visiting a crowded place. Health monitoring is also required, and discomfort shall be reported to the community promptly, followed by medical treatment in accordance with corresponding rules.

Those in home-based quarantine or health monitoring and people who live with them should strictly observe the requirement of staying at home. Once symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue and olfactory or taste dysfunction appear, individuals shall immediately report the situation and cooperate with the corresponding control measures.

For overlaps with officially announced activity trajectories of confirmed cases, a history of travel to risk areas, and risk alerts such as phone calls, text messages and Health Kit pop-ups, yellow codes or red codes, individuals shall immediately notify the community, employer, hotel, etc., and cooperate with the prevention and control measures.
