A negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours is required for travelers to use public transport such as trains, airplanes and long-distance buses from September 10 to October 31, 2022, in accordance with the requirements of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council.

For senior citizens who are not good at using smartphones and people who do not use the Internet, the railway authorities will verify health codes and nucleic acid test results by swiping their ID cards in order to offer more convenience to passengers.

The railway authority urges passengers to have their body temperature checked and scan the QR code when entering railway stations and checking in, and to cooperate with the staff members who examine the green codes on Beijing Health Kit and negative nucleic acid test results. In waiting halls and throughout the journey, passengers shall wear their masks properly, refrain from gathering and walking around, keep social distance, and take precautions to keep themselves and others safe. Passengers experiencing fever, physical discomfort or other special symptoms shall contact the nearest staff member immediately.
