A store operated by the Beijing Capital Airport Commercial & Trading Co., Ltd. in Beijing's Daxing district recently received the Frontier Port Hygiene License from the customs office at the Daxing International Airport. It is the 22nd time that the office has delivered licenses to enterprises since last July.

So far, all customs administration items can be processed online in Beijing. Thanks to the city's joint efforts to roll various licenses and certificates into one unified business license, it takes only three working days to go through all customs approval procedures. In some special cases, the process can be completed within one day. Previously, declaration applicants had to wait for 15 days to get a license.

Coordinating with the municipal government, the Beijing Customs also issued a list of items concerning customs approval and uploaded it to the city's administration system, ensuring that one single item can always be processed under the same norms.

In a bid to improve the city's business environment, the Beijing Customs has also carried out a series of activities to popularize legal knowledge, said Yu Weizheng, director of the Beijing Customs' Regulation Division.

Lectures on how enterprises could benefit from the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and other preferential policies, such as tax and fee cutting, were organized to further revitalize the market.
