From May 17, passengers are required to have their health codes checked at some stations of major subway lines in Beijing. To take the subway in key areas, passengers are recommended to keep social distance, and stand in line to present their health codes. The procedure does not apply to senior citizens and children who are unable to present the code.

Passengers' understanding and support for the epidemic prevention and control measures are highly appreciated, and they are encouraged to observe Beijing's anti-epidemic protocols, and subscribe to the official WeChat and Weibo accounts and download the apps of Beijing Subway, BJMTR and BJMOA to receive notifications about the subway lines and stations in key areas before taking public transport. Service hotlines of 96166, 96165 or 96123 are also available for inquiry.
