On March 9, as part of the section "Beijing Fun Food", the Snack Food Festival was held in Peach Garden Museum, Chaoyang District as a special event for international exchange.

Over 40 kinds of snacks and ten methods for how they are made were presented, offering a snack feast with Beijing characteristics for foreigners. Bingtanghulu (candied haw on a stick), Lvdagun (glutinous rice rolls stuffed with red bean paste), and other products sold on the streets in old Beijing were major attractions for the international community. Exclusive coupons worth a total of CNY 163,000 were distributed to the public.
