In light of the surge in COVID-19 cases, you may have come across a new request recently, especially when entering public buildings, and this is also going to apply for schools once the new semester starts--not only to show your Health Kit APP, the Green code, but also to show a travel history. This is in order to show that people have not been to medium or high risk areas within the past 14 days. So let us explain to you a little bit how you can get this information and how you can show it. Just like Health Kit, this itinerary card mini APP exists within Wechat and you will need to find it. The only problem is that this mini APP only works in Chinese and you will need the help of the Chinese friends to read it.

How do I prove my travel history?

You have a phone here in China and you have a local phone number, a local SIM card that is associated with a service provider and this service provider often sends you messages, such as your balance or special promotion or details about your roaming package. It's somewhere on your messages list and you will find it very easily. And if you reply right now with a certain code to your service provider, you can check your travel history and it appears as a record that you can show at the entrance of all public buildings.

STEP 1: Select service provider

So if your phone is using China Mobile system, the number is 10086. And if your phone is using the China Unicom service provider, the number is 10010. If your phone is using China Telecom, the number is 10001.

STEP 2: Send message: CXMYD

The message that you need to send is the same for all service providers. You need to send in capital letters without any spacing the following:CXMYD. This is the message that you send to the number of your service provider.

STEP 3: Reply to message

Then you will get a return message that is going to ask you to identify. You reply to this message with the last four digits of your ID card or passport. This is the one that you use in order to register your phone number. Each phone number in China is registered to one person and when you bought your SIM card you provided a passport numbers. So reply with the last four digits sore of this ID number that is affiliated with your SIM card and then your service provider is going to send you back your travel history.
